Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for most new, unused items. All returns require prior authorization from Gator RC.
To qualify for a return, an item must:

Be unused and uninstalled

Be in its original packaging
-
Include all parts, manuals, hardware, and accessories

Be in new, resalable condition
Returns that arrive used, incomplete, improperly packaged, or damaged may be rejected or subject to additional fees.
Proof of purchase is required.
RC Airplanes, Kits, and Airframes
RC aircraft kits, ARF models, and airframes must meet all of the following requirements to qualify for return:

The aircraft must be completely unassembled

All factory packaging must be intact
-
All parts, hardware, manuals, and accessories must be included
-
All components must be unused, unopened, and in resalable condition
Once assembly has started, the aircraft is no longer eligible for return.
Aircraft showing any evidence of the following cannot be returned:

Glue or adhesive
-
Assembly or installation
-
Fuel residue
-
Flight attempts
-
Modification
-
Missing or damaged parts
-
Damage caused by improper repacking or return shipment
All airplane returns require prior return authorization. Do not ship an aircraft back to Gator RC until return instructions have been provided.
Airplane Return Charges
Customer-requested returns of RC airplanes, kits, and airframes are subject to the following deductions:

A minimum 15% restocking fee

A restocking fee of up to 30%, depending on the condition of the product, packaging, completeness of the return, and the inspection or repackaging required

The actual outbound shipping cost paid by Gator RC to ship the airplane to the customer
The actual outbound shipping cost may be higher than the shipping amount shown or charged at checkout because Gator RC may subsidize a portion of the shipping cost. This actual cost will be deducted from the refund, including on orders that received free or discounted shipping.
Gator RC does not provide prepaid return shipping labels for customer-requested airplane returns. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
These deductions do not apply when Gator RC confirms that an item was shipped incorrectly or arrived damaged due to shipping.
Electronics (Servos, ESCs, Receivers, Gyros, etc.)
Electronic components may be returned only if they are:

Unused
-
Not installed
-
In their original packaging
-
Complete with all included parts and accessories
Electronics that have been soldered, installed, connected, or modified are not eligible for return unless confirmed defective.
Defective electronics may be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty service when applicable.
Batteries
For safety reasons, lithium batteries cannot be returned once they have been connected, charged, installed, or used.
Unused batteries in their original packaging may be eligible for return if they have never been connected, charged, or installed.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Photos of the product received

Photos of the shipping box and packaging if damage occurred

Photos clearly showing the damage or incorrect item

Please retain the product and all shipping materials until we provide instructions. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution when applicable.
Oversized Aircraft Returns
Large RC airplanes and oversized packages require prior return authorization.
Please contact sales@gator-rc.com before returning an oversized item so we can provide return instructions.
Gator RC does not provide a prepaid return label for customer-requested oversized aircraft returns. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying all return shipping costs unless Gator RC confirms that the item was damaged in transit or shipped incorrectly.
Gator RC does not provide prepaid return labels for customer-requested returns of RC airplanes, kits, airframes, or oversized products.
We strongly recommend:

Using a trackable and insured shipping service

Purchasing insurance for the full value of the product

Retaining the shipping receipt and tracking information
-
Carefully repacking the product using all original protective materials
The customer is responsible for the product until it is delivered to Gator RC. Damage occurring during return shipment may reduce the refund or make the product ineligible for return.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For airplane returns, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by Gator RC will be deducted from the refund, even if the customer received free, discounted, or subsidized shipping.
Restocking Fees
Most approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee when inspection, repackaging, replacement packaging, or other preparation is required.
Customer-requested returns of RC airplanes, kits, and airframes are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. This fee may be increased to as much as 30% based on:

The condition of the product

The condition of the factory packaging

Missing parts, manuals, hardware, or accessories
-
Opened internal packaging
-
Inspection and testing requirements
-
Repackaging or replacement packaging required to make the product resalable
Items that are no longer resalable may be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

Assembled or flown RC aircraft
-
Aircraft for which assembly has begun
-
Items showing fuel residue, glue, installation marks, or modifications
-
Charged, connected, or used batteries
-
Installed, soldered, connected, or modified electronics
-
Clearance or final-sale items
-
Custom or special-order products
-
Items returned without all original parts and packaging
-
Items damaged due to inadequate return packaging
Refund Processing
Once a return is received, it will be inspected before a refund is approved.
If approved, the refund amount will be reduced by any applicable:

Restocking fee
-
Original shipping charges
-
Actual outbound shipping cost
-
Missing-item, damage, or repackaging deductions
The remaining refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days after the refund is processed for it to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Exchanges
Gator RC does not process direct exchanges.
If you would like a different product, please follow the applicable return instructions and place a new order.
