Performance Specifications by Model
| Model | Torque @ 6.0V | Speed @ 6.0V | Torque @ 7.4V | Speed @ 7.4V | Torque @ 8.4V | Speed @ 8.4V |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S5412H | 22 kg-cm / 305.5 oz-in | 0.07 sec/60° | 27 kg-cm / 375.0 oz-in | 0.08 sec/60° | 30 kg-cm / 416.6 oz-in | 0.05 sec/60° |
| S5414H | 47 kg-cm / 652.7 oz-in | 0.12 sec/60° | 55 kg-cm / 763.8 oz-in | 0.10 sec/60° | 63 kg-cm / 874.9 oz-in | 0.08 sec/60° |
| S5415H | 53 kg-cm / 736.0 oz-in | 0.15 sec/60° | 63 kg-cm / 874.9 oz-in | 0.12 sec/60° | 71 kg-cm / 986.0 oz-in | 0.10 sec/60° |
Which Model Should I Choose?
- S5412H: Best where speed is the priority. With 0.05 sec/60° at 8.4V, it works well for ailerons and lighter control surfaces on 30cc–50cc class models.
- S5414H: Strong balance of torque and speed for large rudder and elevator surfaces. Excellent all-around choice for 50cc–100cc giant-scale aircraft.
- S5415H: Maximum torque option at up to 986 oz-in at 8.4V. Best for heavy control surfaces on 100cc–120cc aircraft, turbine jets, and large scale warbirds.

Why Choose a Coreless Servo?
Coreless motors eliminate the heavy iron core found in conventional brushed servo motors, resulting in faster acceleration, smoother operation, and improved responsiveness. This makes the ACT 5400 Series a strong choice for pilots who want precise control feel and fast reaction from their aircraft.
Soft Start Technology
All three ACT 5400 Series models include integrated Soft Start, which gradually initializes servo movement at power-on instead of snapping immediately to position. This helps reduce stress on gears, pushrods, control horns, hinges, and large control surfaces during startup.
Important Setup Notes
- Use a properly rated receiver battery, regulator, or power distribution system for HV servo operation.
- At 8.4V, stall current can reach 6.6A, so power system capacity should be planned accordingly.
- For best results, use rigid linkages and heavy-duty servo arms rated for giant-scale loads.
- Dual battery systems are recommended for large aircraft running multiple HV servos simultaneously.
- Always verify direction, travel, centering, and linkage geometry before flight.
