Futaba R2006GS 2.4 GHz S-FHSS/FHSS 6-Channel Air Receiver

The Futaba R2006GS is a compact six-channel receiver for compatible Futaba S-FHSS and FHSS 2.4 GHz radio systems. It provides six conventional PWM outputs for straightforward airplane and helicopter installations using standard servos and electronic speed controls.

The receiver automatically detects S-FHSS or FHSS operation. Dual-antenna diversity helps maintain reliable signal reception by allowing the receiver to use the antenna providing the better available signal.

Dual-Antenna Diversity

The R2006GS uses two receiver antennas positioned in different orientations. The receiver automatically uses the antenna providing the better available signal, helping reduce signal loss caused by the aircraft’s orientation.

For best reception, install the two active antenna sections as straight as possible and approximately 90 degrees to each other. Keep the antennas separated from motors, electronic speed controls, batteries, metal components, carbon fiber, and other potential sources of electrical interference.

Protocol Compatibility: This receiver operates with compatible Futaba transmitters in S-FHSS or FHSS mode. It is not compatible with a transmitter operating only in FASST, FASSTest, T-FHSS Air, or surface-system T-FHSS mode.
Channel Notice: Use S-FHSS mode for full six-channel operation. When the receiver is used in FHSS mode, operation is limited to a maximum of four channels.
Power Notice: Use a suitable rechargeable receiver battery or properly regulated ESC/BEC output within the specified voltage range. Futaba states that dry-cell battery holders should not be used to power the R2006GS.
