The Stinger 20cc SE is a single-cylinder, two-stroke gasoline engine for RC airplanes. Its side exhaust arrangement and beam mount make it an option for compatible aircraft, including some conversions from glow power. Fuel and Ignition
This engine uses premixed gasoline and suitable two-stroke oil. Stinger’s current product page recommends a 32:1 gasoline-to-oil mixture for conventional oil or 40:1 for synthetic oil. Follow the manual supplied with your particular engine for fuel mixture and break-in instructions.
Stinger’s current listing specifies a 7.4–14V ignition power supply and advises against powering the ignition through a BEC, iBEC, or uBEC. Before connecting a battery, check the voltage rating on the ignition module actually included with your engine, as earlier packages may differ.
