Power Unlimited HV LiHV Battery 5S 5100mAh 35C Ultra-Light

The Power Unlimited HV 5S 5100mAh 35C LiHV Battery is designed for serious RC pilots who demand maximum performance with minimal weight. Weighing only 518 grams (18.25 oz.), this next-generation battery delivers exceptional power density while reducing overall aircraft weight for improved performance.

Using advanced High Voltage (LiHV) cell technology, this pack may be charged up to 4.35 volts per cell for maximum capacity during sport flying. For competition use, pilots can optimize charging to remain within current FAI and AMA Pattern voltage regulations while taking advantage of the additional usable energy available from LiHV chemistry.

Why Choose LiHV?

Unlike standard LiPo batteries that charge to 4.20 volts per cell, LiHV batteries can safely charge to 4.35 volts per cell. This provides additional usable energy and longer flight performance when appropriate for your application.

Many competitive Pattern pilots choose LiHV batteries because they allow greater usable capacity while remaining within FAI competition voltage limits when charged appropriately.

Competition Information

FAI F3A regulations limit the propulsion system to a maximum of 42.56 volts prior to flight (approximately 4.256 volts per cell on a 10S system). LiHV batteries allow competitors to take advantage of additional usable capacity compared to a standard 4.20V-per-cell charge while remaining within competition limits when charged appropriately.

Always verify the current rules for your competition before charging your batteries.

Charging Recommendations

  • Charge to 4.20V per cell for everyday flying if maximizing battery life is your priority.
  • Charge up to 4.35V per cell only when using a charger designed for LiHV batteries.
  • Never exceed the manufacturer's recommended charge voltage.
