The Castle Creations Talon 60 is a compact, high-performance electronic speed controller designed for electric airplanes and helicopters requiring up to 60 amps of continuous power. Supporting 2S to 6S LiPo batteries and delivering up to 1,400 watts on 6S systems, the Talon 60 combines proven Castle reliability with a powerful integrated BEC capable of powering today's demanding digital servos.

The standout feature of the Talon 60 is its heavy-duty BEC, providing up to 20 amps peak output and 8 amps continuous output with selectable 6V or 8V operation. This allows many aircraft to eliminate a separate receiver battery while maintaining dependable servo power.

💡 Modeler’s Tips

Because the Talon 60 features a powerful 20A peak internal BEC circuit, ensure your servo extension leads are of high quality and heavy gauge (22AWG preferred). When setting up high-voltage servos on 8V, double-check that your receiver or flybarless gyro is rated for high-voltage input before making the final battery connection.
