Du-Bro Dura-Collars provide secure positioning and retention for RC airplane wheels, axles, shafts, and landing gear assemblies. These precision-machined collars feature durable nickel-plated brass construction and include a matching set screw for each collar.

The substantial brass construction provides enough material around the threaded opening to help resist stripped threads under tightening load. Select the inside diameter variant that matches your axle or shaft from the dropdown options above.

⚠ Sizing & Tool Note: Measure the outside diameter of your axle or shaft before ordering; the size refers to the exact opening through the center of the collar. The 7/32 in. collar measures approximately 5.5 mm and may accommodate some nominal 5 mm axle lines, but dimensions must be verified first. A standard 5/64 in. hex driver is required for installation but is not included.

💡 Installation Guide

  • Slide the collar onto a clean axle or landing gear shaft to check for a smooth, slide-fit placement.
  • Position the collar flat against your wheel hub or tracking reference point.
  • For smooth steel struts, grind or file a tiny flat spot where the grub screw makes contact to create an unshakeable shoulder link.
  • Tighten the set screw with a quality 5/64 in. hex driver until snug, being careful not to over-torque on soft core wires.
  • Always apply a small drop of medium-strength thread locker to the set screw threads to safeguard against gas engine vibration paths.
