Du-Bro Dura-Collar Wheel Collars

Secure wheels, axles and other rotating components with Du-Bro Dura-Collar wheel and shaft collars. These nickel-plated brass collars use steel set screws to provide secure positioning on RC aircraft landing gear and other compatible shafts.

Choose the inside diameter that matches your axle or shaft. Each package includes four Dura-Collars, four matching set screws and the appropriate hex wrench.

Set Screw and Wrench Sizes

  • DUB137, DUB138 and DUB139: 4-40 x 1/8 in. set screws with a 0.050 in. hex wrench
  • DUB140 and DUB141: 6-32 x 1/8 in. set screws with a 1/16 in. hex wrench

Choosing the Correct Size

The listed size is the collar’s inside diameter. Select a collar with an inside diameter that matches the diameter of your axle or shaft. For example, select the 1/8 in. collar for a 1/8 in. axle.

Installation

  1. Slide the collar onto the axle or shaft.
  2. Position the wheel or component as needed.
  3. Tighten the set screw using the included hex wrench.
  4. Confirm that the collar is secure while allowing the wheel or component to move freely where required.

Note: Do not overtighten the set screw. Periodically check collar security as part of normal preflight and equipment maintenance.
