The Du-Bro Kwik Start XL Glow Plug Ignitor provides a fast, reliable way to start glow fuel RC engines. The extended-reach XL design makes it easier to access glow plugs located behind spinners, inside cowlings, and in tight engine installations.

The Kwik Start XL securely locks onto the glow plug during engine starting and features a rechargeable internal battery, USB charger, and convenient Kwik-Mount storage clip for easy transport and field use.

Why Choose the XL Version?

The XL version provides additional reach compared to standard glow ignitors, making it easier to access glow plugs mounted behind spinners, deep inside cowlings, or in scale aircraft installations where space is limited.

How It Works

  1. Charge the ignitor using the included USB charger.
  2. Attach the Kwik Start XL securely to the glow plug.
  3. The internal rechargeable battery heats the glow plug element.
  4. Start the engine using your electric starter or hand-starting procedure.
  5. Remove the ignitor after the engine is running properly.

Charging Indicator
