FrSky Twin TW SR12 Stabilized Receiver – Dual 2.4GHz Telemetry System (12CH)
The FrSky Twin TW SR12 is a high-performance 12-channel receiver featuring dual 2.4GHz active-active redundancy and built-in ADV stabilization. Designed for advanced RC aircraft, it combines signal reliability, flexible configuration, and flight stabilization into one system.
Key Features
- Dual 2.4GHz TW protocol (true active-active redundancy)
- Built-in ADV stabilization system with multiple flight modes
- 12 fully configurable channel ports
- Each port supports PWM, SBUS, FBUS, or S.Port
- Triple 2.4GHz antennas for improved signal reliability
- Dual XT30 power inputs for redundant battery setups
- FBUS support for single-wire control + telemetry
- Built-in telemetry sensors (altitude, vertical speed, etc.)
- OTA firmware updates and black-box logging
ADV Stabilization System (Major Upgrade)
The TW SR12 features FrSky’s ADV Stabilizer, an upgraded system beyond traditional gyro stabilization. It provides more control, flexibility, and advanced configuration options for demanding aircraft setups.
- Supports Stabilization, Auto-Level, Hover, and Knife-Edge modes
- Additional stabilization channels compared to traditional systems
- Full pin mapping for flexible channel assignment
- Advanced tuning and programmable parameters
- Stabilization profile (file) sharing capability
This allows you to tailor flight behavior precisely to your aircraft, whether you're flying scale models, aerobatic planes, or complex builds.
Dual 2.4GHz Active-Active Redundancy
Unlike traditional receivers that switch to a backup signal, the TW protocol runs two active RF paths simultaneously. This improves signal stability, reduces interference risk, and increases overall control reliability.
Configurable Channel Ports
All 12 ports on the TW SR12 are configurable:
- CP1: PWM / SBUS OUT / FBUS / S.Port / SBUS IN
- CP2–12: PWM / SBUS OUT / FBUS / S.Port
Using FBUS protocol, control signals and telemetry can be combined into a single cable, reducing wiring complexity and simplifying installation.
High-Reliability Power System
Dual XT30 connectors allow for redundant battery setups, ensuring your system continues operating even if one battery fails. This is critical for large or high-value aircraft.
The built-in power switch function supports external switch panels (optional) for flexible and safe power control.

What’s Included
- FrSky Twin TW SR12 Stabilized Receiver (×1)
What You’ll Need
- FrSky Twin-compatible transmitter (TW protocol)
- 2S receiver battery setup (recommended)
- Servos and aircraft
Best Use Applications
- Large RC airplanes (gas or electric)
- Scale aircraft needing stabilization
- Aerobatic models (hover, knife-edge support)
- Jets and complex builds
- Pilots wanting both redundancy and flight assistance
Why This Receiver Stands Out
The TW SR12 combines three critical systems into one unit: signal redundancy, configurable control, and advanced stabilization. This reduces wiring, eliminates the need for a separate gyro, and increases confidence during flight.
Modeler’s Tip
Use stabilization modes during maiden flights and windy conditions. Once your aircraft is dialed in, you can reduce stabilization gain or switch modes for more direct control.
