FrSky Xact SG5101H HV Digital Coreless Wing Servo
The FrSky Xact SG5101H is a thin-profile, high-voltage digital wing servo designed for installations where compact size, precise control, and dependable torque are required. Its slim 10 mm (0.39 in) case makes it well suited for ailerons, flaps, stabilizers, composite wings, sailplanes, jets, and other aircraft with limited mounting depth.
The SG5101H is available in two mounting configurations. Both versions use the same servo electronics and provide the same operating performance. Select the mounting style that matches your aircraft structure, servo tray, or installation system.
Available Mounting Styles
- Vertical Lug – Features outward-extending upper mounting tabs. FrSky SKU: 03050652.
- Flat Lug – Features mounting points positioned along the sides and lower portion of the servo case. FrSky SKU: 03050653.
Performance specifications are identical. Only the mounting configuration differs.
Target Applications
- High-performance composite sailplanes, gliders, and thin-wing installations
- Turbine jets, EDF models, scale warbirds, and precision aerobatic airplanes
- Ailerons, flaps, stabilizers, and other control surfaces with limited mounting depth
- Installations using the appropriate optional FrSky Xact 5101 IDS components
Key Features
- Thin-Profile Aluminum Case: The fully CNC-machined aluminum housing provides rigidity, durability, and improved heat dissipation in confined wing bays.
- Non-Contact Position Sensor: Uses a magnetic Hall-effect sensor that avoids potentiometer contact wear and supports precise, consistent positioning.
- Coreless Motor Performance: Provides fast response, smooth operation, and dependable control while driving the precision metal gear train.
- Metal Gear Train: Designed to withstand demanding control-surface loads in high-performance aircraft.
- Multi-Protocol Support: Supports FBUS, SBUS, and conventional PWM control for compatibility with a wide range of radio installations.
- FBUS Telemetry: Can report servo voltage, current, temperature, and operating status when used with compatible FrSky equipment.
- Onboard Status Monitoring: Supports over-current and over-temperature monitoring and alarms with compatible FrSky systems.
- Configurable Travel: Servo travel can be set to 90°, 120°, or 180° through supported FrSky configuration tools.
- High-Voltage Operation: Operates from 4.8V to 8.4V for use with properly configured high-voltage receiver power systems.
FBUS Telemetry Feedback
When connected through a compatible FBUS telemetry system, the SG5101H can report operating information back to a compatible FrSky transmitter.
- Servo operating voltage
- Servo current draw
- Internal temperature
- Servo operating status
