Installation Notes
- Confirm connector polarity before soldering.
- Slide appropriately sized heat-shrink tubing onto the wire before soldering.
- Pre-tin the wire and connector solder terminals.
- Use a properly heated soldering iron to complete the joint quickly and avoid overheating the connector housing.
- Allow the connector to cool completely before installing the heat-shrink tubing.
- Insulate each solder joint separately to prevent a short circuit.
