The Himax HC5018-530 is a high-torque brushless outrunner designed for medium-to-large electric RC airplanes. Its 530Kv winding provides the torque needed to turn large propellers directly, making it a dependable electric replacement for many .40–.60-class glow-engine installations.
The HC5018-530 can be used with 4S to 6S LiPo power systems, allowing the propeller and battery configuration to be selected for the aircraft and desired performance. Its serviceable construction also allows the motor to be disassembled, with replacement parts available separately.
