Why Use an Electronic Switch?
Unlike mechanical switches that rely on physical contacts, the DPS 40 uses solid-state electronics to control power flow. This eliminates contact wear, corrosion, accidental switch movement, and vibration-related failures while providing long service life and dependable operation.
- No moving contacts
- No contact wear
- No corrosion issues
- No vibration-induced failures
- Lower electrical resistance
- Long-term reliability
Magnetic Key Activation
The included magnetic switch allows external control without exposed toggle switches or moving parts. Simply place the supplied magnetic key near the activation target for approximately one second to switch the system on or off. A built-in green LED provides clear status indication.
Dual Circuit Mode
The DPS 40 can independently switch two separate power circuits, making it ideal for aircraft utilizing multiple power systems or accessories.
- Receiver battery systems
- Ignition systems
- Fuel pumps
- Turbine electronics
- Lighting systems
- Accessory circuits
High Current Mode
By combining both input and output channels, the DPS 40 can be configured as a single high-current electronic switch capable of handling demanding power applications.
- Up to 40A pulse current
- Up to 20A continuous current
- Ideal for giant-scale aircraft
- Supports high-current power systems
