Gator RC M2 Brass Ball Links with Integrated Standoff
Create a clean, compact RC control linkage without adding a separate spacer. These Gator RC M2 Brass Ball Links feature a brass swivel ball with an integrated standoff that provides additional clearance between the linkage and the servo arm or control horn.
The black ball-link body measures approximately 18 mm (0.71 in) long. Complete M2 metric mounting hardware is included for convenient installation with compatible servo arms, control horns, and linkage components. This hardware solution is available in two retail quantity configurations: a 2-Pack or 5-Pack.
Available Pack Configurations:
Select your preferred quantity variant from the options above based on your workbench requirements:
- 2-Pack — Ideal for single control surface repairs or throttle pushrod extensions.
- 5-Pack (Value Pack) — Perfect for outfitting a full wing assembly or stocking your field box with reliable spares.
Note: Each individual ball link unit includes its own dedicated mounting hardware pins.
🚀 Target Applications:
- RC airplane servo linkages and pushrod-to-servo arm attachments
- Aileron, elevator, and rudder control tracking paths
- Custom threaded pushrod lines requiring precise geometric offsets
Why Use an Integrated Standoff?
Standard flat ball links often rub against the servo case or control horn face when deflecting at steep angles. The built-in shoulder offset on this brass swivel ball provides additional mechanical clearance, completely eliminating the need to stack loose washers or separate spacers.
Key Features
- Built-In Shoulder Standoff: Molded offset provides additional clearance to minimize mechanical interference against structural horn faces.
- Brass Swivel Core: Low-friction brass swivel ball ensures silky smooth, multi-axis control response and eliminates slop or dead-bands.
- Durable Composite Body: Tough, high-strength composite socket housing resists stretching and prevents popping off under aggressive flight loads.
- Complete Mounting Hardware: Each link comes supplied out of the pack with its own dedicated matching M2 metric structural machine bolt and lock nut.
- Flexible Bundle Sizes: Available in 2-count or 5-count configurations to easily scale with the scope of your specific building project.

💡 Modeler’s Installation Guide
- Thread the composite link body evenly onto your M2 pushrod shaft to secure equal thread depth tracking.
- Insert the M2 mounting bolt through the integrated brass standoff face, then pass it through your servo arm or control horn.
- Snug down the included hex nut on the back face to clamp the brass standoff shoulder tightly against the mounting surface.
- Verify the socket head freely pivots across its full angular deflection range without rubbing against the servo casing.
- Always apply a tiny drop of medium-strength thread locker to the metal threads during final assembly checks.
