MPI Heavy-Duty RC Charge Switch – Futaba J
The MPI 3170 is a heavy-duty receiver battery switch harness designed for RC aircraft using Futaba J-style connectors. It combines the receiver power switch and an external charging port in one compact, airframe-mounted assembly.
The integrated charging port allows the receiver battery to be charged without removing it from the aircraft. A sliding dust cover protects the charge port when it is not being used, while the included soft-mount frame helps isolate the switch from engine and airframe vibration.

Installation Note
Designed for Futaba J-style connections. Confirm connector type and polarity before connecting the switch to the receiver battery, receiver, or charging equipment. Secure all wiring away from moving parts, sharp edges, and hot engine components.
Important: Place the receiver switch in the OFF position before connecting charging equipment. Follow the battery and charger manufacturers’ instructions during charging.
