Before Ordering
Verify both the spinner diameter and required prop-nut thread before ordering. The supplied prop nut varies according to the selected spinner size.
- 2.75, 3.00, and 3.25-inch spinners include a 1/4"-28 prop nut.
- 3.50 and 4.00-inch spinners include a 5/16"-24 prop nut.
- The 4.50-inch spinner includes a 10 mm x 1.25 prop nut.
Certain engines, including some Saito engines, may require a shaft bushing that is larger than the prop nut. A different prop nut or special bushing may need to be purchased separately depending on your engine and propeller installation.
Selecting the Correct Spinner
- Measure the required spinner diameter at the aircraft's cowling.
- Confirm that the spinner is intended for a 2-blade propeller.
- Verify your engine or motor shaft thread.
- Compare the required thread with the prop nut supplied for the selected variant.
- Confirm adequate clearance between the propeller blades and spinner openings before operation.
