Secraft Servo Arm Remover – V1 Arms (15mm–24mm)

Remove Aluminum Servo Arms Safely Without Damage

The Secraft Servo Arm Remover is a precision-machined tool designed to safely remove tight-fitting aluminum servo arms without damaging the servo case, output spline, servo gears, or the servo arm itself.

Many aluminum servo arms fit extremely tightly on the servo spline, making removal difficult without using excessive force. This compact removal tool applies even mechanical pressure to the servo output shaft, allowing stubborn servo arms to be removed quickly, safely, and with minimal effort.

⚙️ Tool Compatibility Profile:

Engineered to match standard multi-point spacing tracks across specialized alloy control geometry:

  • Secraft Hardware: Secraft V1 Aluminum Servo Arms exclusively.
  • Sizing Window: Accommodates 15mm to 24mm servo arm configurations.
  • Universal Target: Cross-compatible with many similar third-party aluminum servo arms utilizing the same clamping mounting layout.
⚠ Mechanical Safety Notice: High-torque digital brushless servos utilize extremely precise metal gear trains that are highly susceptible to impact shock damage. Backing or pulling a stubborn, bound clamping arm off with a flathead screwdriver or pliers can permanently mar the aluminum case, score the output shaft, or chip internal gear teeth. This tool eliminates lateral leverage loads entirely.

Key Features

  • Zero-Strain Isolation: Pulling design channels a centered mechanical force downward onto the main spline axle pin to pop stubborn arms off without applying side-loads to the case.
  • 6061-T6 Aluminum Core: CNC machine-milled from premium 6061-T6 anodized aluminum alloy for long-term structural durability over repeated workspace uses.
  • Spline Gear Defense: Actively eliminates the risk of stripping out or rolling expensive 25T/24T metal output splines during field repairs or servicing overhauls.
  • Pocket Field Box Tool: Compact, ultra-lightweight architecture makes it an incredibly easy tool to toss inside a traveling pit box or transmitter bag.
  • Supplied Driver Fasteners: Pack comes pre-equipped with a matching high-tensile metric M2.5 puller bolt designed to seat cleanly through the tool hub.

🛠 Why Use a Dedicated Servo Arm Remover?

  • Protects expensive digital and brushless servos from unnecessary mechanical stress.
  • Removes stubborn, tightly-clamped aluminum servo arms quickly and safely.
  • Helps prevent stripped output splines and micro-fractured internal gear teeth.
  • Makes routine maintenance, control surface rebuilding, and fleet breakdowns faster.
  • An essential, permanent addition to any giant scale or precision RC aircraft builder's workshop.

💡 Modeler’s Tips & Operation

To extract a stubborn arm, first fully remove the central socket retention screw and loosen the side clamping bolts on your aluminum servo arm. Slide the Secraft tool shroud beneath or over the servo arm collar, center the included M2.5 tool bolt over the output shaft axis pin, and turn it slowly down using a hex driver. The tool will cleanly lift the arm straight up off the metal splines with zero twisting force, completely preserving your servo's gear indexing.
