🔧 Workbench Installation Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Identify the right-hand and left-hand threaded ends of the turnbuckle and match them to your corresponding M2.5 hardware sockets.
  2. Thread the turnbuckle evenly into both linkage ends simultaneously to establish secure, equal thread depth.
  3. Insert a small pin or tool through the center adjustment hole and rotate the barrel to perfectly align your control surface to absolute neutral.
  4. Once trimmed, verify smooth, bind-free movement through the entire servo travel profile before final assembly lock.
  5. Secure your final setups tightly with locking hex nuts and inspect the linkage security as part of your regular pre-flight routing.

💡 Modeler’s Tips

Because a true turnbuckle features opposing threads, rotating the center barrel in one direction will draw both ends in (shortening the rod), while rotating it the other way pushes them out (lengthening the rod). Achieve at least 6 to 8 full thread rotations of internal engagement into your links for supreme mechanical safety. To isolate your expensive servo gear trains completely from destructive vibrations when installing these high-rigidity pushrods, always lock your servo endpoints cleanly on the bench before securing control horn pins.
