First Year Warranty
First-year warranty coverage begins the day you receive your motor. 1st-year warranty is stem to stern with the exception of exclusions which are covered in our manual. Examples of non-covered damage are crashes, water damage (flood), FOD, Damage, etc.
SWIWIN 25 hour service (with warranty or maintenance)
In order to maintain lifetime coverage, please maintain 25-hour service intervals. The cost of the service is $300.00. During this service, the motor is examined for any sign of wear. Bearings are changed and the unit is re-balanced. Any needed, warranted parts are replaced with the service. For items not covered under warranty, the owner will be contacted before any work is commenced in order to discuss any estimated costs. Please refer to our manual for more warranty and service interval details and exclusions.
Motors that are not maintained at regular 25-hour maintenance will be serviced at standard CRX Time and Materials rates.
Optional Replacement of Glowplug - A glow plug is equivalent to a light bulb. We know that sooner or later that the plug will begin to fail and will later burn out. Unfortunately, a glow plug requires more work to get to and to re-balance the engine than does a bearing change so it is recommended to change the glow-plug at the time of service. Talk to us about having your glow plug changed when your motor is in for service.
