Installation Requirements
- Soldering iron
- Rosin-core electrical solder
- Heat-shrink tubing
- Wire cutters and strippers
Note: Heat-shrink tubing and installation tools are not included.
Installation Guide
- Confirm the positive and negative wire polarity before beginning installation.
- Slide suitable heat-shrink tubing onto each wire before soldering.
- Strip and tin the wire ends and connector terminals.
- Solder each wire securely to the correct connector terminal.
- Inspect the solder joints and ensure the two terminals are not bridged.
- Move the heat-shrink tubing over the exposed terminals and shrink it evenly.
- Verify polarity and continuity before connecting a battery or electronic component.
