The Gator RC CNC 7075 Aluminum Wheel Axles are lightweight, high-strength wheel axles designed for RC aircraft ranging from sport models to giant-scale airplanes. Precision machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum, these axles provide exceptional strength while minimizing weight.
The 4mm axle diameter fits many popular RC aircraft wheels and landing gear systems, making these axles an excellent choice for new builds, repairs, and upgrades. The compact design offers a 24mm mounting width while maintaining a 29mm overall length for secure wheel retention. 💡 Modeler’s Tips & Installation
When installing these 4mm axles onto your aluminum or carbon landing gear legs, slip the silicone spacer tubes onto the inner shaft face to help isolate micro-vibrations and center the wheel neatly inside your wheel pants. To prevent wheel wobble over multiple flying seasons, adjust the large aluminum retaining washers tightly up to the hub face and back your internal M3 stainless steel machine screws with a drop of blue medium thread locker during final workbench assembly.
