Secraft Servo Arm 1.25" (31.75mm) V2 4-40 – Futaba 25T (Red)

The Secraft 1.25" V2 Servo Arm is a precision-machined, heavy-duty aluminum servo arm engineered for pilots who demand maximum strength, rigidity, and precise control. CNC machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, the V2 design features a clamping hub that compensates for slight inconsistencies in servo output shaft dimensions, providing an exceptionally tight spline fit with minimal play.

With a 1.25" (31.75mm) control arm length, this servo arm is ideal for giant scale aircraft, IMAC competition, 3D aerobatic airplanes, sport aircraft, scale models, and turbine jets requiring increased control authority and dependable linkage performance.

🚀 Target Applications:

  • Giant Scale, IMAC, and aggressive 3D Aerobatic aircraft
  • High-performance turbine jets, large EDFs, and precision scale models
  • Control linkages requiring balanced mechanical throw and holding torque at a 31.75mm radius
⚠ Spline Integration & Sizing Note: Secraft V2 servo arms are intentionally manufactured for a snug spline fit and should not simply slide onto the servo output shaft. The arm should install approximately one-third of the way using light hand pressure, then use the servo retaining screw to draw the arm fully into position. This tight interference fit minimizes spline play.

Why Choose the Secraft V2 Servo Arm?

Unlike conventional servo horns, the Secraft V2 Servo Arm features an innovative clamping hub that helps eliminate spline play by compensating for slight manufacturing tolerances in servo output shafts. Combined with lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum construction, this design delivers exceptional rigidity, precise centering, and consistent control response for demanding giant scale and high-performance RC aircraft.

Key Features

  • 6061-T6 Aluminum Core: CNC machine-milled from top-grade aircraft aluminum alloy to eliminate the sloppy tracking flex typical of stock nylon servo horns.
  • Play-Compensating Clamping V2 Logic: Integrated side clamping hub compresses around the spline to absorb minor output shaft size inconsistencies, locking down tight.
  • Standard 4-40 Hardware Tap: Built with a 4-40 threaded linkage hole designed for seamless, drop-in compatibility with popular heavy-duty RC aircraft linkage hardware.
  • Torque-Balanced 31.75mm Geometry: The 1.25-inch profiling delivers an exceptional sweet spot between massive surface deflection throw and servo holding power.
  • Corrosion-Proof Shell: Shipped with a brilliant, highly durable red anodized finish that shields raw alloy surfaces against fuel and moisture residues.
  • Remover Tool Compatible: This exact V2 profile can be cleanly uninstalled without shaft scratching using the full-address Secraft Servo Arm Remover Tool.

💡 Modeler’s Tips & Workbench Assembly

For best results, install the servo arm on a stable work surface before mounting the servo in the aircraft. If necessary, apply a small drop of light oil inside the spline bore to assist installation—just be absolutely careful not to get oil on the central servo screw threads, as this will prevent thread-locking compounds from curing properly. Install your linkage ball link on the underside of the servo arm face whenever possible to maintain ideal geometry and shield the bearing tower from side-loads. Apply thread-locking compound (Loctite®) to all metal-to-metal fasteners and keep all connections tight and free of slop.
