"Old Crow" was the personal P-51D of Colonel Clarence "Bud" Anderson, one of the top American aces of World War II with 16.25 aerial victories. Flying with the 357th Fighter Group, Anderson named every one of his aircraft "Old Crow" after his favorite bourbon — a tradition that followed him through three consecutive Mustangs. He flew 116 combat missions without ever being shot down, earning a reputation as one of the most skilled and aggressive fighter pilots of the entire war.
